Who We Are

Our Mission

Our mission is to ensure abused and neglected children have the right to a safe placement and permanent home. CASA provides trained, screened, and supervised volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children requiring court intervention.

We are for the child who:

  • is abused, homeless, neglected or abandoned
  • who needs medical and dental care
  • has been removed from their home
  • who has been placed in a stranger’s home
  • is in need of counseling because of abuse
  • is hungry because there is no money for food
  • has been in five different schools during the year
  • is failing in school and needs someone to tutor him
  • is afraid to go to sleep because her nightmares are real
  • has witnessed domestic violence in the home
  • whose parents are in jail
  • stays with inappropriate caretakers because Mom can’t afford to pay for child care
  • parents who lost their job and have no support or money to take care of them
  • needs clothes and shoes because he was removed from the home with few belongings
